About Him
You should get to know me because I will make you smile or laugh even on your worst days. I live my life and treat others with respect and care. Life is to be lived and people are to be loved. I am mindful and reflective but can be very spontaneous and adventurous. Love to travel and get out of my comfort zone but also enjoy my own company at home, being still and being grateful for what I have and where I am.
My friends and family would tell you I am extremely loyal and caring. They would tell you I have a great sense of humour and strong values. That I am generous and forgiving and a good mom.
I love nature, being outdoors, in or around water be it a dam, river or the ocean. I equally love the countryside and mountains. This may make me sound boring but I love gardening and landscaping, decorating and DIY projects. I obtained my masters in scuba diving in Nusa Lembognan, Bali. I have had Turkish coffee with Roma gypseys in Albania, Eastern Europe in their homes, I have camped in pine forests on a surf trip near Bordeaux, France, I have been to Uganda, attending an African wedding after a 5hour bus ride, I have travelled on train through Switzerland for 10 days and lived on a farm in Hertfordshire England surrounded by horses and forests and made Elderberry ice cream from the forest. I have spent nights in Scottish Castles and listened to string quartets at sunset over looking the Isle of Girvan on its West Coast. So yes travel is a privilege as much as it is a teacher in this life. I love cultures and learning experiences. After all my life experiences I have come full circle back living near family, where I grew up, the ocean and a whole new chapter about to be written.

My ideal match should be able to be content, patient, kind, funny and adventurous. Honesty is vital as is integrity. I can’t stand a stingy person. If you don’t tip 10percent or more when you eat out then we probably won’t work out 😄 Compassion is an attribute I look for, gratitude is a daily attitude that tells you a lot about a person and how they will get through life.
