About Her
I am a South African children's book author, who has been living in the United States and now planning to return to South Africa permanently. I love the outdoors, especially kayaking, hiking, swimming (especially in the ocean), African wildlife, and also have a deep love for Scotland - where I spent 6 months some years back. I have previously ridden in the Cape Town Cycle Tour a couple of times. I also enjoy travel, art galleries, theatre, and reading quietly by the fire. I care deeply about people, and am an ordained Christian pastor. I also need my quiet space to recharge my own batteries. I love children and animals, and currently have a female German Shepherd. I have a great sense of humour, and love to laugh - and someone who makes me laugh! I'm pretty independent. In addition to writing children's books, I also work in several other genres, and am currently revising my first novel.

Compassion and humour are the two most important traits to me. I would love to share travel and the outdoors, including visiting South Africa's wonderful wildlife parks. I'm looking for committed Christian man who has an appreciation for the arts, and is spontaneous.
