About Her
I am FIRST a Christian, my life (and career) is built on and revolves around my relationship with God.
I have years of counselling and coaching experience.
I don't much care what others think of me and what I'm up to - I operate for an audience of One.
I have a good few decades-long friendships, Christian community that spans the globe, and I've been a disciple of Jesus for more than 40 years!
I've raised several children I have not birthed (some still very much in my life), and mentored people from preteens to Corporate CEOs.
I have great self-esteem and good confidence which makes me willing to seek out and accept challenges. I'm impossible to "control" but I'm predictable for those who know me and understand the values I hold. I'm capable and I'm looking for a partner to build with rather than someone to primarily "take care of" me.
I'm not afraid of failure. I think it is an essential part of the experimental learning process that gets you to success.
I'm intellectual, creative, extroverted and very interested in how people work and what makes their lives better.
Interested in the subjects of Psychology, Neurology, Spirituality, Ancient Human History, Fine Art (creation & appreciation), Architecture, Theology, Biblical studies, Counselling, Coaching, Mental health, Crime, Forensics, DIY, Agriculture, Literature, Design, Publishing and Language.
About Her Ideal Match
Competent, capable, intelligent, grounded, rooted in Christ, spiritually awake and empowered, operating in the Spirit and led by His hand. Someone who has a vision and understanding of his purpose in the Kingdom. Someone actively and intentionally pursuing God daily.
Someone who sees Christianity as a personal intimate relationship with God, and NOT a list of moral standards and service duties.
Someone who prefers a woman with an opinion, and isn't threatened by her ability to wire a plug, or the fact that she will change a tire herself if the situation demands it.
Someone who wants to build something together (I'm just getting going - not winding down towards retirement). Not someone who is looking for a nurse maid to "mother" them.
I have a more liberal, but egalitarian perspective on relationships, and being a strong willed, emotionally mature and independent, strong minded person - any partner of mine, would need to be VERY solid, well grounded, immovably confident and strong minded too.
I have no issue with a guy who is wrestling with stuff (mental or emotional health), as long as he's pushing intently and consistently towards healing and better headspaces in Christ.
Incidentally -> I'm unlikely to be able to have children at this point but I have no issue with existing children (or raising them) or possible adoption.
I do like a guy who makes the first move :)
