About Him
I exist in a world of chiminea fires and braai's, together with copius quantities of (cheap) red wine, interesting conversation and Friday evening soirees. Have a passion for music, and even play a bit. (Serious hobby, my days of wanting to be a rock star are over). You cannot scare me with Bach or Strauss, and most definitely not with Korn or Disturbed. A typical "Jack of all Trades, and master of none", I can fix just about anything, read financial statements, but not music, play a few instruments badly, but compose most of my own songs, can take a decent photo ever so often, and I can spell and count. Have planned and done a few of my own "Going Nowhere Slowly" trips, and loved it! Edgy enough to be seriously naughty, and totally irresponsible, and get into trouble for it. Look after myself, but am not a metrosexual. But, I am a kind hearted, true person, I detest pretentiusness of any kind, and am down to earth. Enjoy fine things, but realise they are gifts, rather than assets, and you can't take them with you. I live for today, "Tomorrow Never Comes"... And yes, there is a spelling mistake, I know, did you spot it?

Fact is, one always knows when you are attracted to someone, and they to you. I'm here to meet someone, seems like women all think that if you want to chat, you automatically have "ulterior motives". Lets chat, and see what happens. Distance does not matter, as I am not desperately looking, but it would be nice to chat to some of you. Having said that I am committed to having a long term serious relationship. Ek is nie 'n alleen mens nie. Time & the Universe will take care of the rest.
Only time will tell if we are going to get along, and have similar interests. One can only but make contact, chat, and see where it goes from there. I am rather fussy about many aspects of a relationship, (one being that I really need to have strong feelings for someone before I will commit, and therefore I am not one for frivolous flings or one night stands), and some things can be worked on, others not.
